American National Bank is proudly celebrating 38 years of building relationships at the oldest and largest community bank in Broward County, and Ginger Martin has been with the Bank 27 of those years. Ginger's passion for fighting against human trafficking has led her on a mountain climbing journey with The Freedom Challenge since 2014. With nine climbs under her belt thus far, including noteworthy climbs of Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2015, Machu Picchu in 2017 & Mt. Whitney in 2018, Ginger has tirelessly raised funds and awareness for the women and children who are victims of human trafficking. As a result, Ginger has been asked to speak to a multitude of different groups, including a TEDx Talk, to tell her story of climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and leadership lessons learned along the way. Under her leadership, the Bank received numerous awards for its financial performance and community involvement, including being rated one of the Top 200 Healthiest Banks in the U.S. with an A+ Health & Stability Rating and a 5-star rated bank by Bauer Financial. The Women's Edge named the Bank one of the “Top Women-Led Businesses” in Florida for the 10th consecutive year in 2024, and South Florida Business Journal ranked the Bank #1 among banks in S. Florida that participated in PPP lending. The Bank also received the Business of the Year Award from South Florida Business Journal, and Small Business of the Year from the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber. She has previously served on the boards of the FBA, Leadership Broward Foundation, Extraordinary Women Leading Change, Executives’ Association of Fort Lauderdale, and as a former foster parent she served on the board of 4KIDS of South Florida. She is a member of numerous non-profits.Ginger earned an MBA from FAU and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Louisiana.
