After a decade in frontline Social work I diversified to one to one, counselling work with "third culture kids". I am currently working in a highly prestigious international school in New Cairo as a whole school guidance counselor (KG-18)Aside from my substantive post I freelance collaboratively with Osana Family wellness - I offer therapeutic counselling interventions for children, adults, couples and families with individual or group based therapy. With a growing case load in interracial, interfaith, and cross culture relationships my latest academic study has focused on psychosexual therapy for couples which has also informed individual therapy and sexual minority work.I am passionate about social work and really believe i what we do. With extensive experience in short term and long term family support, fostering and adoption, court work, assessment centre, and supervised contact services i bring a wide breadth of knowledge to my practice. Having navigated the fast paced world of frontline social work and the reflective, relationship based context of long term counselling i feel im able to use theory, practice models and technique to really make a difference for the children and families i support.
