• Ensure daily operations run efficiently, patients have access to care, clinical staffing levels are appropriate, and workload is distributed fairly (multiple locations)• Initiate and implement change based on analysis of department reports• Develop and execute Standard Operating Procedures, process improvement plans, OKR’s (Objectives and Key Results) to achieve Organizational and departmental goals • Ensure corporate compliance is adhered to • Clinical point of contact during regulatory surveys• Initiate and follow through with continuous improvement projects• Interview, select and orient new hires• Offboard unsuccessful team members and those who voluntarily leave the department• Oversee initial and annual training and development of new and existing caregivers • Prepare, present and discuss performance to include workplace reviews/evaluations and performance improvement plans• Investigate and resolve patient concerns• Mediate during caregiver conflicts• Investigate and address caregiver policy violations• Explain steps to obtain FMLA, disability, and personal leave to caregivers who qualify• Time management to include prioritizing tasks to meet established deadlines for overlapping projects• Lead bi-monthly team meetings via Microsoft Teams to ensure consistency of practices across all locations and to facilitate strategic planning sessions• Develop, coach and mentor caregivers identified as next generation leaders• Monitor spending and financial performance to ensure department budget goals are met• Develop and sustain Cole Eye’s in-house clinical caregiver training program to support current staffing needs and strategic growth plans• Organize and lead continuing education events• Actively participate in the integration of acquired ophthalmology practices and the expansion of services to new office locations, including design planning of office space to optimize patient flow and the identification of providers to practice at each new site
