About Ginny Myrick

A longtime government relations professional, I’ve effectively lobbied for public and private clients, twice been elected to public office, and helped found and nurture major regional nonprofits. As CEO & President of Cathedral District-Jax, Inc., I am leading the effort to redevelop a historic 36-block area in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville into a leafy, vibrant neighborhood where residents of all ages, backgrounds, interests and abilities can live, work, learn, play and pray together.It’s an exciting project! The Cathedral District, anchored by five historic churches, will include businesses, residential housing, neighborhood schools, public art, employment opportunities and more. Our goal is to create a community with love at its core, an enclave where diverse residents can thrive and contribute to the vitality of a city on the move. As you might imagine, challenges abound.
