Owner, Creative Director, PhotographerMoments By Ginny Sep 2014 - Sep 2020I'm a storyteller at heart, and my personal work tells visual stories through photography. My spare time is often spent on the back roads and nature preserves of Missouri, taking nature and wildlife photography. Every captured moment is a little story. I treat each photo to enhance the moment, using a unique blend of photo filters. I then transfer each photo onto canvas, using a hand-rubbed technique that creates a lightly distressed, vintage look. My aesthetic combines the finesse of photography with the warmth of handcrafted and found objects. I pair each photo canvas with a hand-painted frame (often up-cycled frames that have been reclaimed and refreshed). When I'm done, each piece is a one-of-a-kind creation with a “new vintage” style. Invited to participate in juried art events, like the “Vintage & Made Fair” in West Des Moines, and the "Strawberry Swing" in Kansas City, which have both been featured in BuzzFeed’s “Indie Craft & Art Shows Every Creative Should See in the World.”
