Gino Sciaraffia is an architect and BIM (Building Information Modeling) specialist, with extensive experience in the development of large-scale complex engineering projects in public and private tenders. He has led architectural and BIM projects in recognized national and international companies, developing hospital, airport, educational, urban, corporate and housing infrastructure planning projects. In 2022, in a personal quest to bring parametric design tools to healthcare, he founded CORPUSLAB 3D with his wife Tamara Aracena, a company that seeks to improve pre-surgical planning, using computed tomography images as a basis for manufacturing high quality and detailed anatomical models, parametrically built in resins and thermoplastics. Currently, the company has an important strategic alliance with local investors, with the vision of implement the first laboratory in Latin America for titanium implant-prosthesis solutions, manufactured by additive manufacturing (3D metal printing). It has participated in important local events of technological and medical innovation, and today it is one of the finalists of the 7th National Contest "Desafío Emprendedor" of the Bank of Chile, broadcasted by the National TV channel (TVN).
