Primary responsibility is to underwrite loans. I continuously review files to determine if applicant(s) have sufficient income to support the proposed mortgage and other continuing obligations. Additionally, I am responsible for reviewing all file documentation to determine the acceptability of the applicant’s credit history and to insure that company credit guidelines and investor guidelines are being met. Routinely review appraisals to determine if stated value is supported. Review preliminary title reports for correct endorsements and/or any required amendments. Assist the sales department (i.e., LOs) and operational personnel with underwriting questions/procedures whenever necessary.

Market IndyMac products to mortgage brokers. Build strong business relationship new potential clients introduce new products and variety of services that IndyMac provides

Market loan products to mortgage brokers, cultivating strong working relationships and maintaining consistent call schedules to generate new and ongoing business. Promote benefits of loan programs, periodically conducting educational presentations at broker sites. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:Successfully maintain productive relationships with multiple brokers, particularly Spanish-speaking.
