Gino PainoHolds an Architectural degree from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS – Brasil) a six year Architectural program, is a Register Architect (Lima, Peru) and has work as an Artist since his early years. In the U.S., he studied Interior Design at the International Fine Arts College in Miami and for the last two years Gino has worked as a Project Manager for the Shore Hotel in Santa Monica, CA. prior and for five years, he hold the position of Project Architect / Technical and team leader at Gensler in Los Angeles, during that time he worked with some of the most talented local Architects and Designers as well as experienced Hospitality Clients, his work has encompassed a wide range of building types both large and small, in varied locations around the country and abroad. Over his career, he has worked closely with acclaimed architects on complex projects to help their design reach recognition in contemporary construction.While at Gensler, he worked closely with a number of the principals in some of the key projects like the Cipriani Beverly Hills Hotel, The Beverly Hilton, The Beverly Hills Hotel – Bungalows and Ocean Avenue Hotel (Shore Hotel) in Santa Monica.In addition, at Gensler, he completed multiple commercial interiors projects. Gino has a particular passion for sustainable design and has participated in several LEED and Green Building projects.His practice as an Architect and Interior Designer started in Porto Alegre, Brazil as part of the DEGRAU studio and later in Miami Beach as the owner / curator of the controversial “Gallery of the Unknown Artist”, where he run in addition to the Gallery a Historic restoration company call the Art Deco Foundation, where in collaboration with skilled Artist, restored a number of Hotels and private residences.Is currently working in a number of projects; ranging from Eco-Resorts in Soth America, Urban Redevelopment in Santa Monica, Ca., Restaurants and "Pre-Fabs" & "Minimal Houses".
