Main Duties and Responsibilities as Public Health InspectorMy main task in the department are: monitoring the drinking water quality supplied by the Surinaamsche Waterleiding Maatschappij, advising companies that will or are producing bottled water (starting from the source to transporting the end product) for example: Caribbean Beverages, Zenobia Bottling Company n.v., Arni food & beverage, Rudisa Beverages & Juices N.V., Future Beverages NV., Whahaha Suriname Purified Products Company NV etc. Also monitoring waste water and sanitation, soil testing and providing information about the environment, health and hygiene. Monitoring incoming and outgoing passengers at the ports (Port Health).....
