Worked with a team of 10 academics on the project "Unraveling the Cocoon of Memory: Women's Narratives in a Fading World" funded and organised by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Public Humanities Initiative in collaboration with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) and Columbia University.The goal of this public humanities project was to document the oral narratives of women in the small community of Soufli, a small Greek town. With a background in education and a familiarity with technology, I had the opportunity to contribute to our team's efforts. My role included (1) assisting in the development of two educational workshops for children and young adults, exploring themes of memory and history, and (2) collaborating on four podcast episodes that used the material we gathered while in Soufli. The project managed to bring a sizeable portion of the local community in a thought-provoking, critical return to past.
