Implement behavioral plans to meet students' needs for social, educational, cognitive, mental and physical development. Observe and evaluate students and provide feedback to parents and lead teachers. Knowledge of behavior strategies including but not limited to how to manage the environment, following basic icon schedules, utilization of positive behavior interventions, and basic reinforcement skills. Showing patience, respect, and compassion in working with student. Adapt general classroom material to meet the needs of the assigned student, per the IEP. Enforce the Buddy System mentoring program between 1st and 5th grade students, increasing student development and enthusiasm for learning. Maintain daily records of children's individual activities, behaviors, meals and naps. Establish a safe play environment for the children. Encourage children to be understanding of others. Identify signs of emotional and developmental problems in children and reported to parents. Helped children reach milestones in the area of self-care. Observed children for signs of illness, injury, emotional disturbance, learning disorders and speech problems. Promote good behaviors by using the positive reinforcement method.
