- Research and develop strategic and policy advice to assist the CMTO Board to formulate and achieve the CMTO’s goals.- Represent the CMTO and ensure that it provides articulate and engaging internal and external communications. - Foster and support networks and relationships for the CMTO with community broadcasting sector organisations and sector RTOs, other media and training organisations and government- Ensure the legal and RTO compliance of the CMTO’s policies, operations and procedures with ASQA.

- Manage a national team of certified trainers delivering the Certificate II in Creative Industries and Certificate III in Media.- Maintain Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisation- Develop training and assessment tools and training programs - Grant writing and grant acquitting for national sector-based training funds - Meeting with sector bodies and stations to consult on industry standards and sector-wide training needs- Delivering and Assessing units from the Certificate III in Media to trainees from a range of radio stations

- Produce a monthly audio package for The Australian Ballet’s public website- Conduct regular interviews with the Australian Ballet Principal Artists, Choreographers, Artistic Director, Chief Conductor and Production Designers in Melbourne and Sydney- License music for use in podcasts through NAXOS- Produce scripts, record voiceovers and edit interviews to create a package for online delivery- Liaise regularly online and via phone with The Australian Ballet’s marketing department and Publications and Online Editor

- Coordinating monthly board meetings- working with board members on strategic planning- working with station staff on HR, volunteer recruitment, training and grants

- Manage a team of contributors for a weekly Storytelling radio program, All the Best, broadcasting nationally on the Community Radio Network and to Sydney on FBi Radio- Manage budgets, grant writing, recruitment and partnerships for the All the Best events and programming.

- Produce a daily round-up of events from the Annual Woodford Folk Festival for broadcast on the National Community Radio Network- Co-ordinate and train a team of 15 reporters for comprehensive coverage of events at the seven day festival.- Liaise with Festival media, performers, stage managers and station managers for permission produce documentaries for the Australian Music Radio Airplay Project

- Management of radio operations, equipment, facilities and services in consultation with Zed Technical committee- Execution of organisation’s business plan; including development of annual budgets and monthly financial reporting to the Board of Directors- Coordinating financial record keeping (MYOB) in consultation with bookkeeper and treasurer- Strategic planning and support for major fundraising including Radiothon, volunteer recruitment, training, building and maintenance and major events- Human Resource management; including internal recruitment, contract writing, subcontracting, school-based traineeship management, international internship management, mediation and conflict resolution- Recruitment and training of volunteers for all departments and developing internship programs for the music, interviews and news departments- Training volunteers in all areas of broadcasting, including news production, interviewing, writing for radio, digital editing, vocal presentation, field reporting, live music recording, podcasting and online media.- Developing training resources for the station and an annual training delivery plan
