The objective of the USAID Middle Corridor Transportation and Logistics Program is to improve the Georgian transport and logistics sectors to increase the volume and value of people and goods transiting Georgia while also decreasing the cost, time, and environmental footprint of transportation systems. This will allow Georgia to take advantage of regional trade routes to grow and create jobs while meeting its EU integration and Paris Climate Accord commitments.

The consultants’ tasks include:Phase 1: i) identify the key challenges (city municipality transport priorities); ii) select the cities having overcome successfully the similar type of issues in the past and establish contacts with governments of the cities; iii) plan the study tour. Phase 2: summarize the findings of study tour and organize a 2 days round table workshop in Tbilisi. City representatives as well as international experts will be invited to take part in the event.
