About Giorgio Basile

I’m a travel agent since 2005 when I’ve started my career in tour operating. I love my profession and travelling, I’m an enthusiastic of geography and outdoor activities and a kind of computer and internet geek. My working and life experiences, combined with my personal passions, led me to become a qualified tour organizer for destinations as Asia, Middle East, South America and of course Italy and the Alps. In 2013 with some of my former colleagues and travel mates we started our own business with the tour operator Verticalife (verticalife.it), focused on outdoor travel and tours in Italy (especially Alps and North) and around the world, in the places where we’ve been and we’re still going.In 2018 I finally become Hiking and Trekking Guide in the Italian Alps, a great "second job" to escort people who like to explore the mountains I love!
