• Participation in the ECOREST II oceanographic campaign on board the N/R Gaia Blu as part of the LIFE-DREAM and REDRESS projects at the Dohrn Canyon, Naples;• Participation to the oceanographic campaign ECOREST Leg II on board of the R/V Gaia Blu within the LIFE-DREAM project at the Dohrn Canyon, Naples;• Participation as Italian Delegate for the 4th session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC-4) under the umbrella of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) for the development of a global treaty on plastic pollution, including the marine environment;• Exhibitor for the project "Smart technology for MArinE Litter SusTainable RemOval and Management" (MAELSTROM) at the European Ocean Days 2024 in Brussels - Belgium;• Acquisition of submarine acoustic data with MultiBeam EchoSounder (MBES) instrumentation;• Processing and interpretation of bathymetry data acquired with MBES instrumentation.

Activities performed: • Acquisition of submarine acoustic data with MultiBeam EchoSounder (MBES) instrumentation; • Processing and interpretation of bathymetry and water column data acquired with MBES instrumentation; • Production of reports and cartography using geographic information systems (GIS). The above-mentioned tasks were performed within various projects: • Ravenna CCS HUB - Eni S.p.A.; • Feasibility study for the subsequent protection of the beach of Sirolo (AN, Italy) and the cliff behind the S. Michele-Sassi Neri and Urbani Beaches - Municipality of Sirolo; • Ante- and post-operam monitoring of sediments from excavation works - Central Adriatic Sea Port System Authority.

Activities performed: • In situ sampling of water and sediment in estuarine environment;• In situ monitoring of chemical - physical parameters by using a multi-parameter probe and Secchi disk; • Laboratory analysis of chemical - physical parameters of water and sediment (organic matter, granulometry, Chl a, Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Volatile Suspended Solids (VSS), Fixed Suspended Solids (FSS), turbidity and Coloured Dissolved Organic Matter (CDOC)); • Quali-quantitative characterisation of microplastics in sediments; • Characterisation of macrobenthic invertebrates community structures by morphological identification under a stereomicroscope (indices used: Margalef, Shannon, AMBI and BAT); • Analysis, interpretation and plotting of data from CTD probes using MATLAB; • Analysis of data from "ERA5 reanalysis" and "Iberian-Biscay-Ireland (IBI) reanalysis" (CMEMS) using MATLAB.
