The Venture Capital industry can’t afford to invest only in people who look and sound like themselves, especially when women founded and led companies consistently outperform their male counterparts in financial return terms. They also contribute more positively to their customer successes, their team performance, their investor returns, their community welfare and planet sustainability.About me: I have over 35 years of board level experience in creating and helping innovative, fast growing, international, hi-tech and life science companies. I worked with teams who were passionate about making a positive impacts and helped them to create, grow and realise optimum value. I have been a co-founder of a leading European venture capitalist firm, two innovative biotechs and a software company, helped to spin out companies from British Telecom and Toshiba, turned around a few struggling companies and financially managed listed companies in London and Australia.I am currently creating U.Guru which will help people to become gurus about themselves. Using the best science, technology and expert knowledge to unlock and energise our Mind, Body and Soul towards living healthier, value based lives with integrity and purpose.
