As a freelance UI / UX Designer I worked on multiple projects of varying scopes. Some companies wanted full in depth research and analysis before design and others simply wanted a heuristically designed landing page. I have provided a few examples of the variety of work below.

Limassol (Lemesos), Cyprus

SaxSeat is a startup that created a tool allowing saxophonists to sit down while they practice or play their saxophones. As the UI / UX designer I was in charge of user experience, branding and web design. I designed a successful Kickstarter campaign allowing them to raise their initial startup funding and then went on to design a sales website with a fantastic conversion rate.Below I've included a small case study of one part of the work I did whilst I was there. I've also included a link to the Kickstarter campaign I designed.Their current website is not my work, they have since started with a new designer.

I create and manage a number of websites for a number of small businesses. Taking them from the initial concept all the way through the design, UX, development, testing and launching. I also set up web hosting, emails, social media profiles and much more.

I was door to door fundraising for 40 hours, 6 days a week. Since this was a live in fundraiser role it was a very team oriented environment. A typical day would include 1 hour of training each morning, we’d then travel 30 – 60 mins to work then work for 7 hours knocking on around 100 doors each finishing at around 8pm. I learnt a lot through this role, knocking on strangers doors, pitching them and asking if they’d like to donate on average £85/ year definitely helps build confidence and of course you learn to deal with rejection and failure and turn that negativity into positive attitude because you can’t let things get you down. It also showed me the importance of the team in keeping up good moral and helping everybody to do the best they can.

My responsibilities include looking after several social media campaigns as well as designing and creating a range of posters, flyers and videos. I create personas and try decide what would make the most successful marketing campaign. I also create realistic 3D mockups for potential products, flyers, business cards, books etc. Basically anything digital design related.
