Little Islands Festival is a new festival for people, places, ideas and images. It is a celebration of audiovisual arts based in Sikinos and willing to connect more and more little Greek islands every year.In collaboration with artists experimenting with new forms of audiovisual art, we strengthen the creative community, encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge, and actively support the interaction between place, artist and visitors.Our program hosts a wide range of works on digital media, such as: installations, 3D mapping projections, vj art, video art, VR, performances, animation, short films, documentaries, experimental cinema and workshops.

Animasyros International Animation Festival launched its journey into the world of animation on 19 September 2008 in the island of Syros in Greece. Since then, Animasyros takes place annually in the capital of the Cyclades complex.It is organized into three main pillars, the artistic programme, the educational programmes and the Market section, while there are also parallel activities such as exhibitions, concerts and parties.In its 13 editions, Animasyros has screened over 2,700 animated films from all over the world, it has produced over 68 original animated films in the course of the educational workshops, over 25 projects have been presented at the Agora (Market) section and over 1200 guests have visited the festival.

The I_AM: “Inclusive education using Animation and Multimedia” project aims to support inclusive education of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) through an innovative person-centred, inter-disciplinary and art-based approach, implemented in Greece, Cyprus, Hungary, and Poland.The project utilizes multimedia resources and especially animation, through a blended learning capacity building programme, to develop a welcoming environment for children with SEND in mainstream schools.Working together with school communities, it will promote the sharing of common values of social inclusion. Respect for children with SEND rights towards their equal access to education will be promoted, while stereotypes and discrimination will be combated.
