Giovanna is a Project Engineer (mining) at Knight Piésold’s Vancouver office and holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an emphasis on transportation from FEI. She also has as a Master of Engineering in geotechnical engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais and a Master of Science in geotechnical engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, in conjunction with the geotechnical engineering program at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her previous experience as a pavement engineer includes site investigations, soil laboratory analyses, geotechnical analyses, rigid and flexible pavement design for roads, ports, airports, and consultant activities.
