After my scientific studies and graduating in Economics at Bocconi University in Milan, I worked as an Export Sales Manager in OMB Saleri, a leading company in the Automotive and Alternate Fuel industry. By Managing key accounts and developing new business opportunities I learnt to run diversified markets, from Northern Europe to Africa to South America where I have traveled, met with clients and attended trade shows.Thanks to my sales skills and ability to create ideal solutions for the customer, I had the opportunity to develop my career becoming Area Manager for North America - the company's main market - and to coordinate a dedicated business unit.In addition to my role as Area Manager I have taken on the responsibility of Business Development Manager with the task of developing new Hydrogen projects for the automotive, railway and marine sectors in the US and several European countries.I have been responsible and coordinator of European Union funded H2 projects under the Horizon 2020 program: INLINE (Grant agreement ID: 735367) and MARANDA (Grant agreement ID: 735717) projects.I lived in the United States for over a year in Detroit, Los Angeles and New York to supervise the development of key projects for the company, organizing daily meetings with the relevant Project Managers and Engineering Teams.In 2019, I was recruited by OMAL Spa to manage the North American market and to open the first owned overseas branch.I was in charge of all the steps of setting up the business from the identification of the location, the incorporation of the company, the selection of the staff of the new company and the start-up of the business. OMAL USA Corp is now operational since July 2020.I am passionate about sports and basketball in particular. I have devoted time, effort and commitment receiving back valuable lessons: I have learned to have a competitive and optimistic approach to every challenge and the ability to work great in a team of people.I have been a team captain and in my later years I also embraced the management side of the organization as executive: this has helped me develop my leadership skills in both sports and business relationships.
