During my career, I have gained significant experience in the field of Technical Sales and Product Management at companies of the electronics, lighting and automation for vehicular and pedestrian access industry, developing skills in the field of engineering, industry and product marketing.After a long career at FAAC, at which I held roles of increasing managerial responsibility, I am now Managing Director of the Group.

In 2016, I took responsibility for the entire range and as Product Portfolio Management Director of the Access Solution division, I took charge of two macro-activities related to the product life cycle:1. Development of new products, throughout the value cycle2. Management of the existing product portfolio (phase out, modification, continuous improvement, sales monitoring, etc.). I therefore had direct responsibility for the products that the company develops and puts on the market. Since the beginning of my career, I have always enjoyed working with an eye and ear to the market, backed by a solid technical background. Being an interface between the company and the outside world at an international level has been an added value for me, as I have had a complete look at the entire product process, and also at the cross-department processes, from finance to the supply chain and up to production and sales, and I have thus been able to enrich my expertise and my interpersonal skills.

My professional career as a Product Manager was then enriched at FAAC by expanding the scope of action to other product lines and refining the skills to be put in place also in other phases of the process, such as market launch. In addition to consolidating and increasing technical skills with respect to different product lines, I had the opportunity to widen my view on the market, taking more and more care of all the relational aspects that an international approach requires.

I joined FAAC as Product Manager of the Gate and Barrier Automation product lines and was responsible for the management of the product portfolio (phase in/phase out, new product specifications, existing product changes, etc.). This allowed me to liaison with multiple business areas, getting a first-hand look at everything that revolves around the product at the level of procedures and processes. Thanks to this role, I acquired new skills in areas different from the previous ones, so this expanded my experience as a Product Manager and working, this time, in the Company's headquarters.

In a branch company 100% controlled by the French multinational, I experimented with product management, always under the careful supervision of the parent company. Specifically, I have expanded my knowledge and technical skills relating to other types of products, such as sun protection and window automation (tubular motors for blinds and curtains, window actuators, natural ventilation).

Working for a leading company in the field of lighting devices for commercial and industrial applications was a very interesting challenge at the beginning of my career. I entered the company with a technical-commercial role, as an interface between sales and the internal departments, then I continued acquiring multiple skills in different roles, sometimes more hybrid. Thanks to a solid technical background, I supported sales on the market and took care, specifically, of relations with architects and design studios, supporting them from a technical point of view in the choice of optimal solutions and supporting them in the drafting of the lighting project, in particular in commercial and industrial applications.

After receiving my degree in engineering, my first job was as a Technical Presale Manager at Interklim srl (Belleli Group), where I gained a particularly educational experience, also in terms of flexibility and management of situations. I was specifically involved in verifying customer orders in terms of pricing/technical feasibility and suitability for the production of cogeneration and air conditioning equipment for domestic, commercial and industrial applications, and in the quotation phase for the entire Italian and foreign commercial network.
