The Manager provides direction to employees utilizing management guidelines and general policies to drive operational efficiency in a manufacturing environment.Overall responsibilities include:Managing all production control activity across all Business Units with Operations content for the campus. Driving employee efficiency and engaging employees to achieve their highest potential. Clearly defines employee roles, job assignments, and ensure adequate training and performance feedback is provided. Create reports of any hardware discrepancies to various support groups in a timely manner. Document and standardize site operating procedures including specific transactional and tracking processes for production, development, and sustainment hardware. Work independently across organizations to develop multilateral operational efficiency goals and metrics to measure performance. Manage and monitor the utilization of Production Control support personnel to achieve budget goals. Support various operations functions in executing program delivery, cost, and quality targets. Ensure department is adequately staffed to support all business requirements including meeting monthly delivery objectives across all supported programs and product lines.
