I spent most of my professional life serving the financial services industry as a consultant. I worked with banks in Italy and EMEA since 1990, helping their management understand sector dynamics and future developments, and act on these. I covered topics such as corporate and business strategy, operational improvement, capital allocation, risk management, and restructuring, in most segments of the industry. I have a genuine passion for helping clients to break out of the conventional, identify new routes, and pursue them successfully; I aim at making things happen and producing distinctive impact for and with my clients.My career combines significant industry and consulting experiences, which all contributed to shaping my approach to solving complex problems and serving clients. I started as a derivatives trader in the Italian branch of a US bank. I then moved to consulting with McKinsey. In 2005, I moved to banking with San Paolo di Torino (now Intesa SanPaolo), where I had the opportunity to lead Retail Banking. I returned to consulting in 2007 with Oliver Wyman, leading the development of our Italian and then South-East Europe business. In my free time, I am passionate about testing my limits in endurance activities, cycling in particular, and I love sailing and yacht racing with a team of friends in the Mediterranean.
