Since the university years (the topic of my thesis for the master degree in engineering was the evolution of the purchasing process of industrial goods and services), I have focused my professional effort and interest in the procurement area, and reached – I believe – a very good level of knowledge and skills. A solid theoretical preparation together with meaningful experiences in the procurement of important companies grant me the necessary qualifications to operate with positive results in highly demanding industries.Main achievements:- reorganization of the purchasing/procurement organization (structure and process, including the implementation of new tools like e-procurement, pull deliveries via internet and through blanket orders, new purchasing terms and conditions, new contract types, performance monitoring, purchasing forecast, etc.); - definition of purchasing/procurement strategy and tactics; - long term agreements and complex contracts negotiation (for products, services and capital equipments); - vendor list rationalization with new suppliers identification and qualification (also in low cost countries);- outsourcing and re-sourcing of several million euro of business with meaningful cost saving and cost avoidance obtained.Specialties: Negotiations, long term agreements, organization, tools.Achievements in supply chain optimization, cost reduction, sourcing, business process improvement and operational metrics performance.
