As a self-taught technology enthusiast, my journey began in my teenage years, building and troubleshooting PCs for friends and myself. This foundation led me to a technical assistance role at HP for three years before transitioning to Amazon's Audible brand.I moved to the United States seven years ago and left Audible. Three years ago, I joined Runnings as a cashier. Recognizing my skills with Microsoft Office apps and my prior IT experience, my boss promoted me to the position of Shipping and Receiving Clerk a year later.My curiosity for learning Excel led me to delve into Power Query, where I created several Scan Books. Utilizing advanced Excel formulas, I also developed a schedule workbook to manage attendance for our team. Recently, I created an auditor tool that compares received items versus invoiced items, automatically generating claim forms for discrepancies.My career focus shifted when I discovered my aptitude for Excel, igniting a passion for data analysis. I have since completed several courses by Leila Gharani and recently finished a comprehensive course on Power Pivot, Power Query, and DAX by Maven Analytics. Currently, I am enhancing my skills in MySQL with the guidance of Analyst Builder's course.I am eager to leverage my technical background and analytical skills in a data analyst role, contributing to data-driven decision-making and strategic insights.
