About Gloria Girardi

After working for 25 years in Big Pharma, multinational PR agencies and setting up my own communication agency, always on the topics of health, wellness and sustainability, 6 years ago I embarked on a new adventure in the world of Food and Export. With Smart iting I went back to school: I studied food, understood the value of our producers' work and product or packaging innovation, and learnt the importance of awards and certifications. I put myself in the shoes of the foreign consumer who knows what Made in Italy is but who, perhaps, has not yet really enjoyed it. Talking to importers or distributors, understanding risks and everyday problems helped me to speak the same language and to plan with them ideas and services that would help to better position the product and make it rotate more quickly. A journey in which producers are co-protagonists of the history of their products in markets that are often very different.
