At IndiaCo, he was instrumental is scaling up operations from an incubation stage to public listing. During this tenure, he also received a token of appreciation from Duke Equity Partners, Inc for successfully launching the fund operations in India and advising them on select investment vehicles, investments of which yielded returns in excess of 241%. Kitchen No1 Private Limited was B2B2C cloud kitchen and restaurant aggregator which was way ahead of its times which is todays Zomato & Swiggy. I was the Founder and responsible for overall business and venture establishment. The company rolled out operations early 2001 successfully. During the course of operations, I forged a strategic relationship that lead to acquisition by KRP Hospitality Services in FY 2003. At this point, I exited from operations and ownership of the company and handed over operations to other Founders of KRP Hospitality Services who took over thereafter. This unsuccessful start-up experience that could not scale, is where I got most of entrepreneurial learnings and understanding of what not to do when you want to establish a business.
