Responsible for day-to-day operations and supervision of engineering solutions

Design development management on complex mass transit rail schemes and directing engineering multidisciplinary teams (Rolling stock, Systems, Architecture and Civil).

Coordination of construction team, design and environmental team for optioneering activities during the Draft Initial Preliminary Design Stage.

Coordinate the revision of the Preliminary Design with a team of multidisciplinary international experts. Lead the Value Engineering activities, Risk identification, SWOT and Gap analysis, reports and presentations of findings. Set out the plans, procedures and instructions to effectively manage the Design & Build and Test & Commission stages

To ensure the designs are accepted by the relevant divisions, carried out according to programme and are cost effective. Obtain consents and authority’s approvals and ensure that their requirements are captured into A/E design. Produce Particular Specifications and Drawings for calling of construction tenders. Review and Award contracts. Prepare regular progress reports to update LTA management.

- Responsible for design/management of an extensive portfolio of civil engineering projects.- Ensure that the technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of design work and meet the clients´ needs. - Prepare design and construction programmes and monitor the progress of works in relation to timeline and budget. - Evaluate the design fees for client acceptance.- Implement and sustaining the quality assurance and control the environmental aspects.- Produce design calculations according to Eurocodes, reports and specifications. - Manage design and construction contracts and budgetary controls (invoices, client management, claims and variations).
