Customers used a diverse set of systems and needs: Python, C#, C++, C, LabView, TestStand, Manual Access(Command Line Interface). This required fewer development resources to create, and maintain than if each individual group had created their own. Having the software outside the medical device also decreased regulatory burden.► Senior Team Lead on initial design and architecture of an innovative new software training application for a Class III medical device opening up new revenue opportunities. Worked with a cross-functional team with marketing, clinical, and software development to assist in creation of requirements, user scenarios, architecture, and implementation of both the application and medical device. Work resulted in the inclusion in a patent submission.

As a member of the Research Technology & Development team I performed the following activities► Automated Test System Architect: Creation of Python test executor as part of an automated distributed system interfacing with a central web server and database to enable an automated paperless Verification, Validation, Qualification (VVQ).► Team Lead Software Test: Lead two teams of remote contracts across two countries and time zones developing Python tests based on Medical Device Software Requirements. This required also operating as the primary Scrum Master creating, managing, and reviewing tasks and code.► Test Automation Design: Assisted and designed Python interfaces to automate external devices and simulators, as well as simplify test creation, documentation, and processes.► Hardware Test System Design: Designed a new test device, and assisted in the creation of several others to replace an outdated systems. This included design input, review, and delivery of a C based driver to allow automation of the systems.
