► Tasked with providing technical expertise in building, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, DDC and other related facilities areas to ensure systems are well maintained and operated energy efficiently. Developed a computerized preventative maintenance plan for the college. Intimately involved in defining renovation requirements, annual capital planning, and full-cycle project management.► Involved in the design and construction of a $36M major capital expansion project at the Coquitlam campus to ensure systems and design components met College specifications. ► Collaboratively worked with stakeholders and consultants to prepare scope of work, issue RFP`s, and ensure timely project completion.► Spearhead the full-cycle project management of small capital projects, to include: boiler upgrades, corridor lighting initiatives, and server room planning & relocation. Developed plans for $2M worth of upgrades to the Performing Arts Theatre, which included audio-visual and acoustic improvements.► Involved in all aspects of project management, installation, programming, commissioning, and design of computerized energy management systems. Act as project manager on retrofit projects and when assigned, act as owner representative on larger projects.► Responsible for the planning and expenditure of the college-wide routine capital allocation. Identify infrastructure costs when FF&E budget requests are reviewed, and manage an annual budget of $2M.► Prepare tenders and requests for proposal (maintenance & ACA projects). Prepare budget, revenue forecasts, and financial performance reports for the service department. Collect, compile, and report energy use and reduction initiatives as per CNAR requirements.► Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors for the provision of services, prepare, present and administer policies and procedures, and set standards and guidelines for communications and public relations with users.
