After 11+ years of practicing law and 7+ years as a business owner, I am happy to announce that I am bringing my knowledge, skills, and love to all business owners as a Certified Business Coach with ActionCOACH. A little bit (or a lot) about my journey:I was born in Cuba, but at the age of 10 I moved to Chile with my parents and sister, leaving the rest of my family in Cuba. At 18 years old, I came to the United States to attend college at South Carolina State University on a full athletic scholarship (tennis has always been the family sport). For the next four years I represented my school on the tennis court and in the classroom by obtaining the Student-Athlete of the Year award for all four years. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I traveled to South Florida and joined the Florida International University College of Law community. During my years at FIU College of Law I was an active member of the FIU Trial Team, the president of the International Law Student Society, and a member of the Cuban American Student Bar Association.I practiced law for 11 years in the areas of civil, insurance, and commercial litigation. In 2015, my husband and I opened our own firm, Silverberg|Brito, PLLC. We successfully grew our company from just the two of us to a team of 20+ people in those 8 years. We also grew our revenue from under $200,000 a year to over $4 Million at the time we sold it in 2022.Our ActionCOACH business coach played an integral part in the growth and success of our firm. After the sale of our business in 2022, I reconnected with myself and my family. During this time, I also connected with my passion, purpose, and with the impact I want to have in the world around me. This gave way to the vision for my new path - to build a world where everyone is free to create a life that inspires them. I now feel free of the constraints I had in my life (money, time, others’ expectations, etc.) and I have created and continue to create a life that inspires me. I achieved this freedom thanks to the support of my loved ones and to the growth and development of my business.Wanting to bring this to the people I know and love, I am now a Certified Business Coach with ActionCOACH! I have joined the business coaching firm that guided me, my team, and my business for four years, Team Sage.
