Gisele teaches Portuguese as a non-native language, working in online education with students of various nationalities. She holds a Master's in teaching Portuguese as a foreign language, a Bachelor's degree in Language and Literature, and a postgraduate certificate in Distance Education. She has worked for several years as a teacher in Public Education in the State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She has worked as an Education Methods Specialist in the scientific initiation scholarship program at UFRJ. In 2019, Gisele volunteered to work for the International Humanity Foundation as a Curriculum team leader and Teacher Training Team Leader, coordinating and proposing educational solutions for underprivileged children in Africa and Asia. She is the author of the book "Palavras Envessadas" and coauthor of "Materias didáticos em línguas com foco na diversidade étnico-racial".She researches Mozambican women's literature and its intercultural contribution to PLNM classes.
