Responsible for managing UNDP Programme portfolio in environment (climate change, biodiversity conservation and its relation to human development).Actively engaged in all phases of project management: planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes contact with a wide array of institutions ranging from governmental agencies to private sector and academic institutions both locally and internationally.• Responsible for coordinating the work agenda of the National Science Commission (Comisión Nacional de Ciencia) and of the Science Cabinet (Consejo Interministerial de Ciencia). These two bodies have the highest hierarchy within the Panamanian Science and Technology System.

• Responsible for project planning vis-à-vis the Institutional goals and programs:o Actively engaged in project writing and negotiating, highlighting the following projects: - “Conservation and sustainable use of Biodiversity of the Colombian Andes”, funded by the Global Environmental Facility (GEF), the World Bank and the Netherlands Embassy in Colombia. - “Biodiversity and Development in strategic ecoregions of Colombia – Orinoquia-”, funded by the German Cooperation Agency (GTZ).o Progress report preparation for presentation to funding agencies, Board of Directors and General Assembly. • Budget Planning, Projects and Agreements follow-up. • Responsible for coordinating the Communication team, composed of a webmaster, an editor, a photographer and a library administrator. • Responsible for the final proofreading of publications.
