I was the owner of 2 Sunflower restaurants for 18 years. My family owned various restaurants in London where I honed my catering and hospitality skills working at weekends and during the holidays whilst studying at school and then catering college. After trying various other roles I decided to start my own business with my partner and bought Sunflower. After three years we bought a second one in Marylebone lane. We catered to the busy and fast moving office breakfast and lunch trade. We built a very successful and profitable business and after 10 years I bought him out and became the sole owner of the original, and larger premises. It had 35 covers and catered for local businesses both take away, eat in and outside catering. My customers were extremely loyal with 90% returning every day. I continued for another 8 years building a very loyal customer base. Along with running a business I honed my hospitality skills and now have many customers and great connections wanting to know where I'll be working next. I am now looking for new exciting opportunities which capitalise on my experience in running restaurants and hospitality .

Pappagallis was a very busy pizzeria in the heart of London and theatre district with 100 covers which on its busiest period would turnover 500 covers. It was a family business and was responsible for stock taking, buying, placing orders for food and non-food items, planning regular and themed menu's with the chef, special events and hiring, training and motivating the staff. But my key area of responsibility was managing front of house ensuring we had an efficient booking system and customer satisfaction.I left to start looking for my own premises once I'd decided to open my own restaurant with my partner.

I assisted the owner, liaising with the factories ensuring orders were received and processed correctly. I also assisted in quality control

I worked for an Italian family helping them with their children. My aim was to improve my Italian and experience life abroad. I returned fully fluent in Italian

I worked on reception answering the phone, helping to book camera crews and outside broadcasts. I also helped with editing, voice overs and liaising with the BBC.
