𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲’𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗿 - 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗜 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲.I recently reignited my long-standing passion for UX design and product development, following nearly two decades in digital communication. While I first encountered this field during my university studies about 20 years ago, the opportunity to formally pursue a career solely as a UX designer has only recently presented itself, and I couldn't be more thrilled about it.𝗔 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗥In my current role as a UX designer specializing in automotive digital interfaces, I have the privilege of applying my decades-long fascination with UX principles to create impactful user experiences for everyday tasks. This transition from my previous roles in web design and entrepreneurship to a more focused role in product development has been both invigorating and rewarding.𝗔 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗔: 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗬 𝗨𝗫 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘 𝗥𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗦During my time working in Africa, I had the unique opportunity to serve as a web designer specializing in platforms required to perform in extreme rural scenarios. These platforms were often designed to be partially usable by semi-illiterate individuals. It was here that I truly challenged my theoretical UX skills in real-world contexts for the first time. This experience remains one of the most formative periods of my career, providing me with invaluable insights and shaping my approach to UX design.𝗔 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗨𝗜𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗬𝗢𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘Beyond the confines of my work, I'm deeply immersed in the world of food and culinary arts. As a semi-professional cook and food blogger, I constantly explore the design side of food, seeking connections between culinary experiences and my work in UX design. I find inspiration in the way food brings people together, and I'm passionate about creating seamless and enjoyable experiences - whether it's through a delicious meal or a user-friendly interface.𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗘𝗗 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚Among my recent professional endeavors, I've had the pleasure of serving as a post-graduate master’s professor at the IAAD Institute. Teaching remains one of the most fulfilling ways for me to grow and evolve. Engaging with students provides invaluable reverse mentoring experiences, constantly challenging me to expand my horizons.
