Giselle Lobo (Ph. D) is a special educator who believes all children can learn and it is the responsibility of teachers to find the way in which the child learns best. Her experience lies in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is skilled in autism specific strategies like ABA, the TEACCH approach and PECS and Activity Schedules. Giselle has conducted parent education sessions in which she has trained parents of children with ASD on strategies needed to teach their own children at home during the pandemic. She has also worked closely with schools to develop systems which are inclusive and welcoming to children with special needs. She pioneered the model of the Life Skills Resource Room in Goa which has now been accepted into state policy.
