Knowledge of chemical, biological and comparative therapeutic properties of drugs along with skills in compounding and assessment of drugs. • Pharmacy Management• Vendor relationship and Negotiations Management• Inventory Control • Training and Development• Dispensing of Prescription Medication• Physician and Patient Liaison• Product Safety• Sound knowledge of Pharmaceutical Ethics and Regulatory Requirement• Delegate and monitor functional goals, objectives and programs• Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws related to regulation of pharmacy practices• Providing input for establishing standards and procedures, assisting in measuring performance and making suggestions on necessary adjustments.• Providing appropriate alternative medication regimens based on various factors such as efficacy, safety and cost-effectiveness while suggesting alternative medication therapies to physicians.• Delivery of Dose Administration Aids (DAA).• Resolving and documenting issues relating to medicines for patients within community pharmacy i.e.clinical interventions.• Opioid replacement program (Methadone, Subutex and Suboxone) and needle exchange program.• Participation in Pharmacy Practice Incentive program (PPI) which include the 5 primary health concerns: Diabetes, Respiratory disease, Cardiovascular disease, Mental health conditions and Health promotions
