The O'Brien's Music Studio specializes in private and group music lessons with focus on guitar, ukulele, piano and voice. We work with students of all ages and abilities, and take pride in working with students with special needs.

At Belize Elementary School, I teach music to all classes. Music classes include theory, recorders and guitars. Our school also has a school band and two choirs. In addition, students can sign up for private lessons in voice, piano and guitar.

As part of an initiative started Mrs. Deborah Moore-Kushmaul, in collaboration with First Citizen's Bank Trinidad, and more recently headed by Ms. Jean Raabe, I work as a teaching artist in various schools or centers for people with disabilities in preparation for the annual Music Festival for the Disabled in Trinidad and Tobago. Centers I've worked with include School for the Blind, Lady Hochoy (Gasparillo), Immortelle Vocational Center, Immortelle Primary School, National Association for Down Syndrome, and Wharton Patrick School.

At BAJS, I teach music theory and practical to all students from Prep 1 to Standard 5. In addition, I co-lead the upper school choir (Standards 3 to 5) and lower school choir (Standards 1 & 2), lead the recorder ensemble and teach piano lessons as an extra-curricular activity. Students perform regularly for church services and important school events such as the annual Prizegiving ceremony and special masses. Other duties include involvement on various committees within the school system, and preparation of students for Music CAC examinations as outlined by the government of Trinidad and Tobago.

An assistant in the Estimating Department - the department works as a team to submit pre-qualifications, proposals and tenders for various construction jobs in Trinidad and Tobago, as well as the Caribbean region.

Family business which started as an after-school job during high school. After high school, I stayed on to support the General manager. I pursued Information Technology at the junior college level to enhance knowledge. Left Belize shortly after to pursue my education in Trinidad and Tobago.
