About Gisselle Martinez

Attorney Gisselle Martinez is the Legal Director and Co-founder of Orlando Center for Justice. She received her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law (2013) and her B.A. in Economics and Political Science, cum laude, from the University of Florida (2010). An immigrant herself, Gisselle has been passionate about immigrant rights from an early age.During her time at the University of Florida, Gisselle was an active member and officer of CHISPAS, a student-run organization focused on immigrant rights and immigrant advocacy. Gisselle’s passion for immigration led her to pursue a career in law. Gisselle now represents immigrant clients in various agencies and courts and supervises the legal team at Orlando Center for Justice. Gisselle currently serves as the Chair of the Pro Bono Committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Central Florida Chapter. In 2019, Gisselle received the 40 Gators under 40 award from the University of Florida and in 2022, Gisselle received the Orlando Business Journal's 40 under 40 award.
