A graduate from Troy High School in 2023, Gisselle Mendez is an aspiring student looking into a career in the legal and business field. Specifically, she is very invested in corporate law. She invested two and a half years in one of her former high school’s debate clubs, JSA, having created arguments for her team's weekly debates. She was the official Debate Coordinator and Ambassador of her school's national chapter. She also involved herself in Speech and Debate throughout her junior high years, receiving an astounding score in the class, and winning the final debate.Besides debates, she is also well-rounded on the topic of English language. She mainly focuses on writing non-fiction, argumentative essays that persuade the opposing party throughout her high school years. Due to her efforts, she received a recommendation for AP English Language for her senior year.She was also a dual-enrolled student at Fullerton College, where she was enrolled in the PLEG 216 F Computers in the Law Office II Advanced Course. She earned her NSLT Legal Technology Certificate in December 2022. She has already been certified in a number of applications including Word 2019, CloudNine Concordance , and more. At the moment she is an undergraduate student At Cal Poly Pomona under the major Business Administration - International Business. She is hoping to declare her minor in Business Law sometime soon.
