Policy Analyst
CurrentSenior Analyst in GAO's Financial Markets and Community Investment Team, focused on program audits and evaluations, policy analysis, and social science research methods.Responsibilities:• Manage and contribute to cross-functional teams conducting data-driven policy analyses of large scale federal programs, including small business programs and pandemic assistance.• Design, research, and write reports evaluating federal agencies' programs and procedures to help federal agencies and Congress understand and navigate emerging challenges while balancing competing interests.• Develop recommendations to improve agency processes and program effectiveness.• Brief congressional staff, internal stakeholders, and senior management on project progress and research findings.• Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to address research questions.
