My core body of work during my stint with Citi:• Built a range of micro-services using Spring boot interacting with mongodb as data store.• Built a client framework to consume data using the micro-services and a caching framework capable of caching data (in Hazelcast cache) with the capability to refresh cached data dynamically on changes in data.• Built a framework for processing data in a batch which can be scheduled or ad-hoc using Spring Batch.• POC on developing a data processing pipeline capable of processing millions of records using Apache Storm and Kafka for real-time data processing.• Built a framework for data validation and enrichment to support the data pipeline.• Deployed the components on cloud infrastructure in a distributed environment.• Delivered MiFiD II regulation on new regulatory reporting architecture.• Worked on various Regulatory Reporting enhancement requirements for European and US markets such as Primary Dealer Reporting for European Markets and MSRB/RTTM.My other roles and responsibilities included:• Understanding business requirements, technical design, unit tests (junit and Mockito), development, code reviews (git pull requests/ bitbucket), build and deployment (teamcity and uDeploy), vendor on-boarding, framework stability and smooth delivery.• Responsible for configuration setup, UAT support to Users as well as Production support for User queries.• Worked with multinational teams on a POC for using a third party Droit framework for regulatory guidelines which involved coordinating with the droit team, explaining them the use cases for using their product and running tests on actual data for reconciliation.
