With seven years of experience in the photographic medium, I have worked extensively as a photographer for sports events, theatrical plays, and concerts. My portfolio includes collaborations with emerging musicians and songwriters, and their respective labels, where I have served as a content creator, editor, and curator. I have selected and edited over 20,000 images for social media content, album covers, and event posters, with some featured on editorial playlist covers on a major music streaming platform. In addition to these professional engagements, I have pursued personal projects and participated in national and international photography competitions. My work features a documentaristic style, and I maintain a quality-over-quantity approach, honed through my experience with analog photography, which I continue to use to this day. This ability to produce meaningful images pairs well with my writing and storytelling skills, equipping me with the right set of tools to embark on reportages, interviews, and expeditions.

As a Tutor, my role initially focused on keeping doctoral students informed about important deadlines, seminars, and mandatory courses. Over time, my primary responsibilities have shifted towards both internal and external communication, supporting the Programme Coordinator in organizational and management tasks. Nonetheless, I continued to handle daily requests from students and served as a liaison between the students and the coordinating professors of the PhD Programme in Earth, Life, and Environmental Sciences (STVA).

I completed my training internship at the Microbiology Laboratory of the Department of Biomedical and Biotechnological Sciences (BIOMETEC) at the University of Catania, where I learned and applied some of the main laboratory techniques used in bacteriological diagnostics.
