More stringent noise regulations have made sound reductions as key design driver in many engineering applications, including the fluid-mechanics problem of the jet noise, retained one of the most challenging concerns in the last decades. In this perspective, the project focuses on the principal aspects characterising the design of a turbulent jet facility, retained crucial for jet noise studies.
