Timespan is a cultural organisation in Helmsdale (Scotland, UK) with local, global and planetary ambitions to utilise culture for social change following principles of equality, emancipation and inclusion. Timespan is a place for art, research, heritage, local history, future propositions and action. Comprised of a local history museum, contemporary art programme, geology and herb gardens, shop, bakery and cafe, Timespan adopts an holistic and integrated approach to make art and heritage tools for global cultural and social change. The institution is committed to diagnosing and responding to urgent contemporary issues, which are rooted in the local context of remote, rural Scotland, and to approach these from multi-disciplinary perspective.

Mediterranea 19 – School of Waters imagines a biennale as a temporary school inspired by radical and experimental pedagogies and the way they challenge artistic, curatorial, and research formats. It acts as a collective tool to defamiliarise imaginaries linked to the eurocentric interpretation of the Mediterranean area.

Il Colorificio is a project space and a curatorial collective based in the peripheral district Giambellino, Milan. Its research revolve around performativity, self-display practices and sexuality. Indeed, the 2019/2020 programme is titled “L’ano solare” [from Bataille’s book “The Solar Anus”] and involves practitioners who conceive sex and sexuality as a form of knowledge.Selected projects include: L’idillio d’Orta, talk with Luca Scarlini.
