I graduated in Law at the University of Bologna with top honors (top 1%), and obtained a post-graduate degree in Law from the University Luiss Guido Carli, in Rome. I subsequently developed my understanding of European affairs, undertaking studies (DES) at the Sorbonne University in Paris, and deepened my knowledge of political affairs by studying for a MoA in Political and Administrative Studies at the College of Europe, in Belgium. I have relevant and long-term experience in international relations, resource mobilization and public affairs. Since January 2017 I am covering the position of "Donor Relations and Resource Mobilization Specialist" in the Resource Mobilization Division of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). My daily tasks include interacting with resource partners, soliciting contributions, negotiating funding agreements and providing advice to technical units and country offices on how mobilizing donor resources. I have also worked one year at the World Food Programme (WFP), first in the constitutional and contractual law branch, where I had to prepare and review agreements and contracts with public entities, as well as assist in the preparation of legal opinions, then in the Partnership Division, where I had to analyze partnership data and produce materials for knowledge management around partnerships. Prior to this I have covered for four years the position of "International Aid and Cooperation Officer" at the European Commission (DG DEVCO), as EU-coordinator at the Africa Working Group, a political entity composed by EU representatives, where I had to consolidate and negotiate political decisions on behalf of the European Commission. I am result focused and I have excellent communication skills. I am equally confident when communicating in English, French, or Italian. My analytical and organizational capacities help me to deliver results at short notice, even with shifting priorities and heavy workloads.
