•Key Responsibilities-•In liaison with the Managing Director, to ensure the day to day cash flow is managed optimally within the facilities available for the smooth running of the business. •Monitor and analyse all promotional & marketing activity within the business to ensure that the set internal controls are complied with. •Prepare detailed variance analysis of margin and overhead movements against budget as part of the monthly reporting.• Prepare product costing as when required. For NPD launches •Oversee and control the preparation of the annual budget. •Overseeing the credit control function, ensuring that the individual customer trading terms are adhered to and debtor days are in line with business requirements. •Manage all matters relating to the company’s insurances and the annual reviews in liaison with the MD. •Prepare and submit all legal and statutory returns on behalf of the company in line required timelines. •Oversee the annual audits•Oversee the payroll and ensure the payments are accurate and made on a timely basis. •Financial Management and Control-Ensure robust financial control and prompt, accurate, detailed management information; Ensure that the necessary business systems infrastructure is in place to support the planned growth and structure of the Group, and is capable of delivering management information of sufficiently detailed nature to support both financial control and commercial decision making; management of key external relationships including banking, audit, tax, insurance legal and pensions.•Profitability and Cash flow- Drive profitability through astute financial analysis of commercial contract negotiation with key customers. Maintain rigorous control over stock and broader working capital management.•HR, IT and Health & Safety- Ensure that adequate processes are in place for HR, IT and Health & Safety across the Group.
