Giulia Pedemonte was born in Italy and she graduated in Rome in 2007. During her studies she spent one year at the Madrid School of Architecture, the beginning of a european career path that took her to London first and then to Paris. She worked for international scope architectural firms, soon managing a range of large scale public building projects, from conception to completion. She also began taking on independent work on smaller scale residential projects. Throughout her education and professional experience, Giulia maintained a strong interest in both scales of architecture: the building, the delicate interaction between buildings and cities and the way architecture can make a substantial contribution to the public context, but also the detail design and the residential scale, all the way to the design of furniture.
