I am an Italian lawyer and tax advisor with a strong background in corporate taxation, tax litigation and tax incentives. I've worked with Italian and international law firms and with the Italian Banking Association.In my current position, in the Tax policy Department of Confindustria, I follow the development of issues related to taxation, defining the Confederation’s policy in this area by assessing and developing proposals that respond to the strategic input of the System and the members.On a technical level, the Tax Policy Department analyses new regulations, practices and jurisprudence on corporate and employee income, indirect taxation, accounting standards, tax breaks and benefits, inspections, tax collection, penalties, litigation, state aid and international taxation.Performing my activities, I collaborate with all the relevant Institutions in the covered areas, both national and foreign (OECD, European Commission, Presidency of the Council, Ministries, etc.) and in particular with the branches of the Financial Administration (Ministry of Economy and Finance, Tax Agencies and other tax authorities).I support other areas of Confindustria, member Associations and companies by drafting in-depth documents (position papers, update notes, newsletters), organizing working groups, thematic meetings and providing telephone and written advice. I also provide fiscal counselling services, contribute to the technical development of inter-disciplinary policies along with Confindustria’s entire structure (in Italy, in Brussels and abroad) and with stakeholders to which Confindustria is a party (Businesseurope, BIAC, OIC, etc.), and I actively participate in inter-association tables, working groups and domestic and foreign think tanks.
