I'm a Brazilian journalist acting at the intersection of investigative reporting, digital strategy and audience engagement. In my 10 years as a professional journalist, I've taken on multiple roles, and I'm currently interested in developing innovative news products that effectively address audience needs and help fund quality journalism in today's challenging and ever changing media landscape.I'm currently the Product Owner of Band.com.br, the digital hub for Grupo Bandeirantes, one of Brazil's largest legacy media conglomerates. I'm responsible for designing and executing the strategy that ensures the website is constantly evolving and properly serving the audience's informational needs and the company's business goals.Throughout my career, I've developed a passion for community engagement. Whether I was reporting a story, designing a marketing campaign or conceiving a new product, I learned that listening closely to what my audience has to say and incorporating their feedback makes the final result more effective, meaningful and useful – and therefore more prone to drive reader revenue. As I dive into the field of news products, I'm excited to help newsrooms use this logic to address the challenges our industry is currently facing.
